Corrupt Roman emperor Tiberius orders his best general, Marcus, to battle a fearsome monster ravaging the countryside. The soldier returns triumpant, with the creature as his prisoner. He's hailed a hero by the people but his popularity makes Tiberius feels threatened. How can the Roman ruler rule if his people favour someone else? Time to pit Marcus against the Cyclops, the idea being that the monster will win in the gladiatorial arena. But Marcus is not blind to Tiberius's scheming ways...
