Peter Sellers returned to his best-loved role for a fourth time here - that of bumbling Inspector Clouseau. He puts his undeniable talent for subterfuge to good use, adopting a series of increasingly bizarre disguises as he attempts to track down a corrupt industrialist running an international drug-smuggling ring. Comedy, bolstered by a series of hilarious slapstick moments, also starring Herbert Lom as Clouseau's long-suffering superior, Burt Kwouk as his faithful manservant, and Dyan Cannon as the crime boss's embittered ex-girlfriend
