Movie (1991)
James Belushi stars as a homeless con-man who travels the streets of America with his adopted nine-year-old daughter. The unlikely duo survive by stealing food and sleeping in welfare hotels. Desperately in need of some money, they hatch an elaborate plan to make Chicago lawyer Grey Ellison (Kelly Lynch) believe that she ran into them with her car, resulting in a free meal for the wandering pair. When Grey bumps into the young girl and her guardian the following day, she invites them to stay at her house, marking the start of a new life for the trio. However, Grey's jealous boyfriend threatens the harmonious situation. Undemanding, and at times irritatingly sentimental, family comedy, with Alisan Porter, John Getz and Steven Carell.
