A gifted teenage guitarist befriends a mysterious blues musician in New York and agrees to accompany him on a long and dangerous journey to his Mississippi home in the hope of finally tracking down a long-lost song. Offbeat road movie which moves at a leisurely pace but easily keeps viewers interested. Starring Ralph Macchio and Joe Seneca, and featuring the music of Ry Cooder.
