Synopsis:
A scientist and his students become convinced that a comet is about to collide with Earth, potentially wiping out the human race. However, he struggles to convince others of his prediction and is forced to take desperate measures - seizing control of a nuclear missile silo with the intention of using it to destroy the incoming comet.
