A tough-talking New York cop and his new partner are assigned to keep the peace in Chinatown - just as a violent turf war breaks out among rival Triad factions. As events unfold, it soon becomes clear someone is hiding a dirty secret - and it seems doubtful that the pair will ever be able to trust each other. Uneven thriller with twists and turns aplenty, moments of exciting action and periods of leaden, plodding dialogue. It should have been much better.
