Movie (1997)
Poignant drama based on a true story. An embittered woman visits the jailed gunman who fatally shot her son nine years earlier, and is taken aback to discover he is full of remorse. However, despite his changed character, she struggles to forgive him. Blair Brown gives a fine performance as the devastated mother, but it's Cameron Bancroft, as the repentant murderer, who carries the film. With Jan D'Arcy and Doug Abrahams
