Movie (1941)
An eighteen-year-old who inherit's his late father's construction company poses as a down-and-out at a London hostel to investigate the firm's suspect motives for serving a notice to quit the building. Shamed to witness the company's fixation with profit at the expense of the poor and destitute, he decides the business must put people first, and to use his wealth to help improve their lot in life.
