Synopsis:
The shabby sleuth crosses intellectual swords with a crooked lawyer who is implicated in the death of a notorious racketeer. While lesser cops might fall for the old 'murder made to look like suicide' ploy, Columbo is quick to spy a few telling inconsistencies - and soon uncovers a trail of guilt leading right to the legal eagle.
