Synopsis:
A black family move into a white area of Forties Detroit. However, despite their best efforts, they soon discover most of their neighbours are less than impressed with their presence. It's not long before the luckless newcomers are subjected to racial violence - and even presented with a lawsuit aimed at getting them evicted.
