Movie (1977)
Writer-director Steven Spielberg's box-office blockbuster, which married a compelling storyline with John Williams' evocative score to produce a powerhouse of a movie. Richard Dreyfuss is perfect, playing the role of Mr Average, an electrical repairman who witnesses a UFO and finds himself obsessed by a Wyoming mountain - with no idea why. François Truffaut, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon and Bob Balaban are among the cast offering able support. The film's finale employs one of the largest sets ever created and is the perfect arena for Douglas Trumbull's jaw-dropping special effects
