Movie (1963)
Julius Caesar intervenes in an Egyptian civil war and falls for the country's charismatic queen. Hollywood's tempestuous couple Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton met on the set of this star-studded historical epic which, taking inflation into account, is the most expensive film ever made. It should have been a box-office hit - but failed to meet expectations, despite doing well at the 1964 Academy Awards. However, it's still an excellent way to spend a few lazy hours. Co-starring Martin Landau, Rex Harrison, Hume Cronyn and George Cole
