Julius Caesar intervenes in an Egyptian civil war and falls for the country's charismatic queen. Hollywood's tempestuous couple Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton met on the set of this star-studded historical epic which, taking inflation into account, is the most expensive film ever made.
