Synopsis:
A lonely angel observing life on Earth finds himself falling in love with a heart surgeon, but learns he can only be united with her if he sacrifices his immortality. Romantic fantasy remake of Wim Wenders' 1987 masterpiece Wings of Desire. Sadly, although this version is beautifully shot, its peculiar brand of slushy sentimentality threatens to ruin the whole thing, turning what ought to be a magical experience into a mundane tugging-at-the-heartstrings love story with a particularly bad ending…
