Anton Diffring stars as a deranged plastic surgeon who offers crooks the chance to start afresh by providing them with a new appearance - on condition that they staff his run-down circus. It's not long before some of his customers decide to renege on the deal and escape his clutches - prompting him to embark on a murderous spree. Top-class chiller, a genre classic and must-see for aficionados of Sixties horror films, with Donald Pleasance giving his all as an unfortunate ringmaster, alongside Erika Remberg, Yvonne Monlaur and Jane Hylton
