Four London siblings are evacuated to the countryside during World War Two and take up residence in a grand manor house. While playing hide and seek, they discover a secret entrance to a mystical land inhabited by a host of creatures - including the chilling White Witch, whose sinister machinations soon force the youngsters' into a battle of good versus evil.
