A con man dresses up as Santa Claus to break out of jail and recover his hidden stash of stolen loot. However, his perfect little plan is thrown into chaos after he's mistaken for the genuine article by two inquisitive kids - who end up making life very difficult indeed. Festive fun abounds in this Disney fantasy comedy, starring Ed Asner, Fred Gwynne, Rene Auberjonois and Susan Tyrrell
