Movie (1992)
Action movie superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger ventures behind the camera for the first time to direct this remake of the 1945 Barbara Stanwyck comedy. Dyan Cannon stars as the presenter of a TV show all about cookery, marriage and home-making : despite secretly being a childless widow who lives alone and doesn't know one end of a saucepan from the other. Unfortunately, her ratings-hungry producer decides it would be a great idea to film in her home on Christmas Day, and sets about finding her a fictional family to fool the viewers.
