Movie (1967)
Saucy comedy, with Jim Dale as a disgraced English gentleman who joins the Foreign Legion to restore his honour - and proves himself an unlikely hero by thwarting an Arab attack. Phil Silvers' overbearing presence does seem to be a fly in the normally reliable ointment, but the series stalwarts pull together to make it work. Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Peter Butterworth and Bernard Bresslaw also star, and there's a sultry turn from Joan Sims as naughty minx Zigzag
