Movie (1956)
A criminal out to make easy money to support his pregnant wife dies during a botched armed robbery, but gets the chance to return from Heaven 15 years later to help his family and teach his daughter a valuable lesson. Colourful adaptation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's toe-tapping fantasy musical, starring Gordon MacRae (in a role originally offered to Frank Sinatra), Shirley Jones, Cameron Mitchell, Barbara Ruick and Gene Lockhart.
