Jack Nicholson and Art Garfunkel head the cast of this drama chronicling the sexual attitudes and obsessions of two male friends from college through to middle age. While one marries young and spends the rest of his life wondering what he's missed out on, the other leads a life of continual philandering that drives his long-suffering girlfriend to despair. Directed by Mike Nichols, and co-starring Candice Bergen and Ann-Margret, who received an Oscar nomination for her performance
