Imaginative young ant Flik lands his colony in trouble when he accidentally disposes of an offering to a group of greedy grasshoppers : who promptly promise a horrible revenge. Faced with the imminent destruction of the nest, he decides to rectify the situation by enlisting help - little realising his fearsome recruits are not all they seem.
