Synopsis:
A high-school student is chosen by a vampire expert to rid the world of an evil blood-sucking menace, drawing on skills inherited from a long line of undead-hunting ancestors. Light-hearted horror comedy which spawned the hugely popular TV series - although the film takes a far more comedic and far less successful approach. Kristy Swanson stars in the role later taken by Sarah Michelle Gellar, alongside Rutger Hauer, Donald Sutherland, Luke Perry and Paul Reubens
