Movie (1997)
Motorist Kurt Russell is desperate when wife Kathleen Quinlan disappears without a trace during a road trip - and the reticence of the locals leaves him sure something sinister's afoot. It's not long before he discovers she's fallen victim to crazed trucker JT Walsh and his cronies, prompting him to vow to rescue his imperilled spouse, and make the crooks pay for their crime. This fantastic tense thriller, heavily influenced by Steven Spielberg's legendary Duel, is guaranteed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, and a superbly villainous performance by much-missed character actor Walsh is just the icing on the cake.
