Movie (1993)
A wealthy businessman hoping to move into politics finds his dim-witted and loud-mouthed showgirl girlfriend (Melanie Griffith) an obstacle to his plans as she continually embarrasses him in high society. Smooth-talking journalist Don Johnson is hired to play Pygmalion and teach her to act in a more sophisticated manner. But love blossoms between teacher and pupil, and the former chorus girl turns out to be much smarter than she looks, beginning to question some of her lover's dodgier business deals. Also starring John Goodman and Edward Herrmann
