Synopsis:
It's styling tongs at dawn when an annual hairdressing competition arrives in the Yorkshire town of Keighley, marking the re-emergence of old rivalries between a local barber and his arch-enemy - who just happens to be the reigning champion. Sadly, this comedy fails to deliver the promised laughs, and its attempts to explore serious issues don't gel either, leaving the cast, including Alan Rickman, Josh Hartnett and Natasha Richardson, floundering
