Synopsis:
Excellent, downbeat and controversial drama recreating the tragic events of January 30, 1972, when soldiers attached to the Parachute Regiment opened fire on an apparently peaceful parade taking place in Londonderry, killing 13 unarmed civilians. James Nesbitt heads the cast as civil rights activist Ivan Cooper, with Nicholas Farrell and Tim Pigott-Smith as the Army officers in charge. It's powerful stuff, well able to provoke an impassioned response
