Movie (1958)
A meteorite collides with the Earth and releases a virulent flesh-eating gelatinous monster that threatens to consume the population of a small American town. A couple of teenagers set out to warn the townsfolk of the danger they face, but nobody believes them until it's too late. A classic slice of entertaining sci-fi horror hokum, starring Steve McQueen, Aneta Corseaut, Olin Howlin and Earl Rowe. Burt Bacharach contributes the insanely catchy theme song
