Movie (1999)
In the early Sixties, a paranoid scientist takes his wife into an underground bomb shelter and refuses to come out, believing the world to have been destroyed in a nuclear war. Thirty-five years later, the couple's son, who was born and raised in the shelter, is sent out in search of supplies, and is stunned to find the world is still standing - but nothing like the way his parents described it. As he struggles to cope with modern living, he encounters a cynical young woman who is swept away by his innocent charm. Quirky romantic comedy, starring Brendan Fraser as the eminently lovable hero, alongside Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacek
