Beautifully shot, heart-warming children's tale about a youngster shipwrecked on a remote island with only an Arabian stallion for company, who deals with his terror and grief by forming an unbreakable bond with the flighty creature. When the soon-inseparable pair are rescued and returned to civilisation, retired trainer Mickey Rooney offers to help prepare them for life on the racetrack : will they achieve success?
