Billy Elliot

A northern youngster is pushed into taking boxing lessons by his macho dad - but ends up enrolling in a ballet class instead, where it soon becomes clear he has a real talent for fancy footwork. However, he faces a tough time convincing his father that dance is a worthwhile pursuit.
