Harry and the Hendersons

Hapless householder John Lithgow and his family's peaceful camping holiday in the mountains is brought to an abrupt end by an encounter with the legendary Bigfoot. Unfortunately, they think they've managed to kill off the oversized beast by accidentally hitting him with their car - but they soon realise he's far from dead when they get him home. The Henderson clan decide to adopt the endearing creature while trying to avoid arousing the neighbours' suspicions.
