A flamboyant Scottish hairdresser is invited to a prestigious styling contest in LA. Discovering he is only a spectator, he tries every trick in the book to worm his way onto the list of competitors - leading to all manner of hair-raising shenanigans. Middling comedy, starring funnyman Craig Ferguson, Frances Fisher, Chris Langham and Mary McCormack. Directed by Kevin Allen, who was also behind 1997 hit Twin Town
