Eddie Murphy stars as unconventional Detroit cop Axel Foley, who goes to Los Angeles to track down an old friend's killers, but gets more than he bargained for when he battles a seemingly untouchable crime lord. Fast-talking, fish-out-of-water comedy thriller that runs at breakneck pace. Judge Reinhold, Ronny Cox and John Ashton co-star, while Harold Faltermeyer provides the memorable soundtrack. Fans of the series may be pleased to hear Murphy has signed up for a fourth instalment, set to hit cinemas in 2009.
