A slobbering, larger-than-life St Bernard invades the home of an all-American family and ingratiates himself with everyone - except peeved patriarch Charles Grodin, who watches in dismay as his orderly life is destroyed around him. This cuddly canine comedy is no cinematic masterpiece, but it certainly makes for entertaining enough viewing, and should keep young pups occupied for a while.
