Beau Geste
Movie (1966)
A man sacrifices his reputation to protect that of his family, but finds himself forced to leave the country and join the French Foreign Legion, along with his brother. The pair are soon involved in battles against rebellious forces, but quickly realise the real threat is much closer to home. The third adaptation of PC Wren's classic tale is watchable enough, but doesn't live up to its predecessors. Guy Stockwell, Doug McClure, Telly Savalas and Leslie Nielsen are among the cast
