Movie (1973)
The fifth and final instalment in the sci-fi series sees intelligent chimps, warlike gorillas and deadly mutant humans struggling for control of a post-apocalyptic Earth. British director J Lee Thompson, who also directed an earlier entry, obviously struggled to make this tired tale worthy of the original, with a small budget and lifeless script limiting his influence. Roddy McDowall, Claude Akins and Paul Williams star, while John Huston makes a welcome cameo
