Movie (2002)
Billy Bob Thornton stars in this thriller as a homophobic sheriff who reluctantly investigates the killing of a transsexual. It soon becomes apparent that local politicians and residents are anxious to keep the murder quiet, for fear of it jeopardising an upcoming election and plans to build a casino in the area.
