Movie (1990)
A doctor understandably arouses equal measures of interest and suspicion when he discovers a way of temporarily reviving patients who have been trapped in a comatose state for upwards of 30 years. The heavyweight cast in this powerful and emotional drama includes Max von Sydow and The Simpsons stalwart Julie Kavner, but it's the two leads, an effectively restrained Robin Williams as the shy medic and Robert De Niro as a patient who had been in his coma since childhood, who steal the acting honours
