Businesswoman Whoopi Goldberg's aspirations are constantly hampered by her colleagues' sexism. Determined to overcome their shocking attitudes, she invents a fictional male partner to give her career a boost. Events take an off-the-wall turn when she has to pose as her imaginary friend, leading to all manner of bizarre shenanigans.
