The Ascent
An Italian soldier detained in a British PoW camp is determined to be the first to scale the slopes of nearby Mount Kenya and place his country's flag on the summit. Following his escape, the English prison commander sets out after the fugitive to prevent him from achieving his ambition, and to be the first himself to reach the top of the treacherous peak.
