Synopsis:
Mel Gibson's powerful action adventure, set in pre-Spanish Mexico, tells the story of a young Mayan tribesman who is forced to make a perilous escape through the jungle after he is chosen as a human sacrifice. With a vicious band of warriors in hot pursuit, the brave hunter uses his knowledge of the surroundings to try and outwit his enemy and return home to rescue his family.
