Movie (1969)
Flamboyant historical drama, with engaging performances from Richard Burton and Geneviève Bujold as Henry VIII and his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn. The monarch goes to great lengths to win the hand of his intended, divorcing his first wife and creating a rift between the British crown and the Church. But when the marriage fails to produce a male heir, he decides he must be rid of her by whatever means possible. Anthony Quayle, Michael Hordern and Irene Papas also star.
