Synopsis:
Gripping supernatural thriller, based on William Hjortsberg's novel Fallen Angel, which undeniably contains more style than substance. That said, though, the more risque scenes caused controversy on its release. Mickey Rourke heads the cast as a tough New York private eye who literally goes through Hell to find a missing jazz singer mixed up in the occult. Robert De Niro also stars as his mysterious client, alongside Lisa Bonet, Charlotte Rampling and Brownie McGhee.
