Sparkling Hollywood musical based on a Gershwin score. Gene Kelly heads the cast as a struggling, penniless painter who finds himself facing a tricky dilemma. He just can't decide which lucky lady he should give his heart to - wealthy patron Nina Foch, or the beautiful Leslie Caron. Kelly received a special citation for his performance in this delightful picture, which was directed by Vincente Minnelli and ended up winning six Academy Awards
