Synopsis:
Ioan Gruffudd gives an impressive lead performance in this biopic of 18th century abolitionist William Wilberforce. After being elected to the House of Commons, the Hull-born reformer and his fellow humanitarians hatched a courageous plan to introduce a bill outlawing the lucrative slave trade, but their bold actions were met with stiff opposition. Romola Garai, Albert Finney, Michael Gambon and Rufus Sewell also star. Every 120 minutes from 6.30am to 9.30pm
