Sigourney Weaver reprises her role as tough Ellen Ripley in the action-packed sequel to Ridley Scott's acclaimed sci-fi thriller. This time she returns to the planet where her crew encountered the first creature, taking along a crack squad of galactic marines to battle not one but an entire colony of the vicious extraterrestrials. But as their comrades are picked off one by one, they're left wondering whether their impressive military hardware and kill-or-be-killed attitude will really be enough to vanquish the malevolent monsters.
