Part two of two. The young heroine suffers a bout of stage fright and runs away from home - but falls into an oversized rabbit warren and emerges into a magical world populated by a host of bizarre characters seemingly intent on breaking her fragile grip on reality. Lavish adaptation of Lewis Carroll's popular fantasy, with an all-star cast including Whoopi Goldberg, Ben Kingsley, Robbie Coltrane, Christopher Lloyd, Ken Dodd and Cheers regular George Wendt. Directed by Nick Willing, who went on to helm the special-effects laden TV version of Jason and the Argonauts
