Synopsis:
Michael Caine's cockney Lothario goes through a series of hit-and-run sexual conquests in the Swinging Sixties, chatting all the time to camera about how remarkable he is. However, a series of unexpected setbacks force him to reassess his carefree approach to life. Caine is superb as the amoral anti-hero, and even received an Oscar nomination.
