Movie (2001)
Steven Spielberg's darkly dazzling sci-fi drama, first envisioned as a film by Stanley Kubrick, follows the journey of a robot child. One of the first to feel emotions, the mechanoid strives to win the love of the human 'mother' who rejected him in favour of her own flesh and blood. A fellow outcast android takes the youngster under his wing, but the pair encounter a host of problems as they approach the answers they seek. Spielberg's future world is amazing, starring Haley Joel Osment, Jude Law, William Hurt and Frances O'Connor star
