Movie (1943)
Stirring World War Two adventure designed to boost American morale. The action follows the progress of a US merchant ship, captained by Raymond Massey, which is attacked by a Nazi submarine while en route to the Soviet Union with vital supplies. Luckily, first mate Humphrey Bogart is on hand to help rally the survivors, ensuring the plucky crew get another chance to carry out their mission. Alan Hale, Julie Bishop and Ruth Gordon co-star
